By Jarred Hanson · BRIX Realty · DRE# 01791663
One of the things I love most about living and working in Lake Elsinore and Wildomar is that summer here is genuinely something special. The lake comes alive, Main Street buzzes, The Diamond fills up on weekends, and both cities pack their calendars with events that remind you why people choose this community over anywhere else in Southern California.
Whether you're a longtime resident, a new homeowner getting to know the area, or someone who's been on the fence about making the move here — this guide is your complete summer playbook. Here's everything worth circling on your calendar for summer 2026.

Beyond the Events — Why Summer in Lake Elsinore & Wildomar is Special
Events are just part of it. Summer here means watersports on a 3,000-acre lake, hiking in the Santa Ana Mountains, weekend mornings at local coffee shops and farmers markets, and the particular feeling of living somewhere that still has genuine community character.
For families who've recently moved here from Orange County, San Diego, or Los Angeles — or for those still weighing the move — summer is when Lake Elsinore and Wildomar make the strongest possible case for themselves. The lifestyle here is real, it's affordable, and it's accessible in a way that coastal Southern California simply isn't anymore.
