The Best Happy Hours in Temecula and Murrieta (2026 Local's Guide)

    By Jarred Hanson · BRIX Realty · DRE# 01791663

One of the underrated perks of living in Temecula Valley is the happy hour scene. Between Old Town Temecula, the Promenade area, and the Murrieta restaurant row along California Oaks, you can find a great deal on drinks and small plates just about any day of the week.

Here is my honest local's list of the best happy hours in Temecula and Murrieta right now, along with the days and times you actually need to show up.

    Old Town Temecula Happy Hours

    The Goat and Vine

When: Monday through Friday, 3 to 6 PM Half off wines by the glass, discounted craft beer, and $6 flatbreads. The patio on Main Street is the best people watching in Old Town.

    Public House

When: Monday through Friday, 3 to 6 PM Dollar off drafts, half off appetizers, and a rotating cocktail special. Their fish tacos alone are worth the trip.

    1909

When: Every day, 3 to 6 PM One of the more elevated happy hours in Old Town. Great whiskey selection, and the truffle fries are ridiculous.

E.A.T. Marketplace (Weekend Brunch Happy Hour)

When: Saturday and Sunday, 10 AM to 2 PM Not a traditional happy hour, but the bottomless mimosa deal is a local favorite.

    Promenade Temecula Area

    Yard House

When: Monday through Friday, 3 to 6 PM and 10 PM to close Half off appetizers and drink specials on their massive draft list. Reliable choice after a shopping run at the mall.

    BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse

When: Monday through Friday, 3 to 7 PM Half off appetizers and reduced pricing on their house brews. Solid, consistent, no surprises.

    Lucille's Smokehouse BBQ

When: Monday through Friday, 3 to 6 PM Half off appetizers at the bar. The biscuits with apple butter are on the house regardless.

    Murrieta Happy Hours

    Refuge Brewery

When: Monday through Thursday, 3 to 6 PM Discounted flights and pints. Rotating food trucks Thursday through Sunday. My personal go to on a weeknight.

    Bushfire Kitchen (Murrieta)

When: Monday through Friday, 3 to 6 PM Wine and beer specials. Healthy food, casual vibe.

    Karl Strauss Brewing Company

When: Monday through Friday, 3 to 6 PM Discounted pints and appetizers. Great outdoor seating.

Nothing Bundt Bites (Sort of a Happy Hour)

Okay not really a happy hour, but if you have never grabbed a bundt on the way home from work on a Friday, you are missing out.

    Wine Country Happy Hours

Most Temecula wineries run tasting flight discounts on weekdays, which is essentially their version of happy hour. A few worth knowing about:

    Ponte Winery

When: Monday through Thursday, 3 to 5 PM Discounted glasses and small plates at the Bouquet Bar.

    Miramonte Winery

When: Friday nights during summer DJ, drink specials, and one of the best hilltop views in Wine Country.

    Wilson Creek Winery

When: Weekday afternoons Discounted flights and their famous almond champagne by the glass.

    Best Happy Hours by Occasion

    • Date night: 1909 or Falkner Winery's Pinnacle Restaurant
    • After work with coworkers: Yard House or Refuge Brewery
    • Groups: Ponte or Wilson Creek
    • Casual and cheap: Public House or Bushfire
    • Sunday funday: E.A.T. brunch or Lorimar Vineyards

Why the Happy Hour Scene Matters
